1. Just wanted to say the new website looks great and I’m very excited about this initiative you all are creating with the AREA.

   I sincerely hope that the energy and ideas created at this new Inglewood location spur others imaginations to take initiative in other parts of Calgary…where vacant or under-utilized spaces are turned in active community-enhancing PLACES through innovation, partnership, and local grassroots engagement.

   Local spots where culture, arts, local food / agriculture, creativity, familiy-activities, education, and sustainbility are embraced and and people feel freedom to contribute, share, recreate, and be creative and inventive.

   A big thank you to the core group of AREA organizers that are kicking off what hopefully evolves into a long-term community resource for residents, family, and friends to develop enhanced sense of community, promote local economic development and employment opportunites, arts and culture space, and many more community amenities that undoubtably contribute to making a great neighborhood even better.
